A passionate mindfulness and sustainability advocate, Shernaz leverages her corporate experience of over three decades and personal insights as a parent of two teenagers to guide individuals toward purposeful living through her startup, Purple Lotus.

Career-Defining Moment
We started the session by asking, “Reflecting on your journey, what inspired you to start in your current industry, and what was a defining moment early in your career?”
Shernaz shared, “I have always been deeply connected to the idea of transformation – both personal and professional. Along with my professional certifications, I am passionately certified in Yoga, breathwork, Life coaching, and other healing modalities like NLP, CBT, Reiki, Theta healing, and many more.
After spending over three decades in the corporate world, where I had the privilege of leading global teams and working with diverse cultures, I realized my true passion lay in helping individuals unlock their highest potential. Observing the transformative effects in my life as I applied and practiced the knowledge, amplified my self-awareness, unleashing my brilliance with a strong calling to help others.”
“A defining moment came during the pandemic when just by mere word of mouth my clients and students connected with me to learn and practice the transformative powers of Yoga and breathwork and the therapeutic effect it had on their overall health and wellbeing. I noticed a gap – many individuals were disconnected from their authentic selves, living unfulfilling lives. This epiphany inspired Purple Lotus – a sanctuary for holistic growth, conscious transformation, and purpose-driven living. Our mission is to empower people to reclaim their truth, reframe their mindset, and master their unique path.” She added.
Conquering The Obstacles
We were curious to learn about the obstacles faced by Shernaz Dubash in her career path. So, we asked, “Throughout your career, what has been one of the most significant challenges you faced, and how did you overcome it?”
She replied, “One of the biggest challenges I faced was transitioning from a structured corporate role to becoming an entrepreneur. It was daunting to leave behind the safety net of an established career and venture into something completely new. I faced self-doubt, the fear of failure, and the complexities of building something from the ground up.
But I overcame it by anchoring myself in my purpose and belief that Purple Lotus could change lives and make our world a better place to live in. Surrounding myself with like-minded individuals who encouraged and supported me also made a world of difference. Every challenge became an opportunity for growth, and that mindset has driven me forward.”

We further asked Shernaz, “Given the rapid evolution in your industry, what major trends do you see shaping the future, and how is your company preparing for them?”
She added, “When I did my research, globally the personal growth, wellness and holistic living industry at present is worth 3 trillion USD. During the pandemic, there was an information and media explosion of everyone wanting to live well, make meaningful lifestyle changes, and lead purposeful lives. The shift towards conscious living and mental well-being is a major trend that’s only growing stronger. People are searching for meaning, fulfillment, and ways to lead more intentional lives.
At Purple Lotus, we have created programs for individuals, corporations, young students, and communities, that cater not just to traditional self-improvement but holistic mastery – mental, emotional, and spiritual growth. We see a rise in demand for immersive experiences, and our 7-Day Self Mastery program, which is in-residence, offers just that.
By combining modern neuroscience with ancient wisdom, we’re ensuring that we stay ahead of the curve in helping people shape their future. Our dreams are big, and in tandem we have conceptualized, using technology and data to bring an intelligence ‘Elevate You’ in the heart, mind, and hands of millions globally.”

“My vision for Purple Lotus is to become a global leader in the life transformation and self-mastery space. I want us to be the go-to for individuals seeking personal transformation. Our long-term strategy revolves around expanding our in-residence programs internationally and creating a know-tech intelligence space that is accessible to everyone, anywhere in the world.
We’re also working on collaborations with thought leaders and wellness experts to bring more credibility and depth to our offerings. Building a strong community around the brand is key, and we plan to engage and inspire through social media and our Transformation Tales podcast.” She shared.

She responded, “AI is reshaping the way we approach personal development, from customized learning journeys to predictive analytics on behavioral patterns. At Purple Lotus, we see this as a tremendous opportunity. We’re exploring ways to integrate AI into our programs, especially in the form of personalized coaching and feedback. By leveraging data and AI, we aim to curate a personalized lifelong journey in the hearts, minds, and hands of every individual.

“As a leader, I’ve come to realize that the ability to adapt is crucial, especially in an era of rapid technological advancements. My leadership philosophy has shifted towards being more agile and open to new ways of thinking. While technology can sometimes feel disruptive, I now see it as an enabler of deeper human connection.
