The low-pressure system in the Arabian Sea continued to bring moderate to heavy rainfall to several parts of the United Arab Emirates on Friday. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reports that light to moderate rains fell on West Al Wathba and Arjan in Abu Dhabi, while moderate to heavy rains fell on Malaghat and other areas in Al Ain, as well as scattered areas in the Al Dhafra region.

According to NCM, Jabal Jais, Ras Al Khaimah, recorded the nation’s lowest temperature on Friday morning, 19.3°C, while Jabal Mabrah recorded the second-lowest, 21°C.

The weather for Sunday is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with the risk of fog or light fog formation in certain inland and coastal locations. According to the NCM, it will also be humid at night and on Monday morning. The winds will be light to moderate, occasionally active, southeasterly and then northwesterly, with a range of 10 to 25 kilometres per hour or 35 kilometres per hour.

The Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman will have calm waters. According to NCM, Monday’s weather will be mostly clear with occasional cloud cover, with clouds moving towards the east in the afternoon. Monday night and Tuesday morning will be humid, and there’s a risk that some coastal areas may experience mild fog formation.
