Gujarati ministers Jagdish Vishwakarma and Rushikesh Patel travelled to Vadodara on Wednesday to supervise relief efforts and evaluate the damage in response to the city’s severe flooding.Later on Thursday, Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi, who also serves as Vadodara’s in-charge minister, is anticipated to travel to the city to meet with flood victims and conduct his own evaluation of the ongoing relief efforts.
The ministers were called to the chief minister’s house today, and the chief minister has demanded a detailed report on the situation.
Six animals at the Kamati Baug Zoo in Central Gujarat have also perished as a result of the floods because the water entered their enclosures.
According to sources, deer and Blue Bull carcasses were discovered in their enclosures, with tree branches covering their bodies.
