In front of scholars and authorities in media and government communication, Alya al Suwaidi, Director of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), congratulated the graduates of the third iteration of the Professional Diploma Programme in Strategic Government Communication at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) on Monday.
As part of its ongoing efforts to equip government media professionals in the emirate with cutting-edge strategic communication tools and practical skills, the SGMB is offering a Professional Diploma Programme in Strategic Government Communication in collaboration with the American University of Sharjah. The program aims to enhance government messaging and communication while influencing media discourse better to represent Sharjah’s unique character in the nation.
Participants in the course completed a rigorous seven-week training program that included five modules on audience analysis, crisis management, content production, executing digital media campaigns, and investigating the application of artificial intelligence technology in communication.
The SGMB and AUS jointly presented the program, which was notable for its integrated delivery and content and the involvement of a wide range of professional and academic specialists. Thanks to this, the government communication departments around the emirate were able to develop a cooperative network and share experiences.
