For the second edition of the Sharjah Women Impact Fellowship (SWIF), a six-month program aimed at achieving successive stages of business growth, 14 female entrepreneurs with established ventures and proven commercial traction have been chosen by the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa).

The new cohort, which consists of five startup entrepreneurs and nine SMEs from F&B, FMCG, creative industries, sustainability, manufacturing, EdTech, and health, brings together founders from various business models and nationalities who have already established their ventures and are now concentrating on expanding and strengthening them.

In order to provide a baseline for each fellow’s development trajectory inside the program, the program began with an orientation session that included a role-playing leadership assessment conducted by SWIF Empower Partner Evolve Careers, a career-readiness platform.

Along with sharing their experiences, participants talked about current priorities for business growth and leadership development, and they started making connections with peers who were in comparable stages of development.

“Building a business is only one part of the entrepreneurial journey; sustaining its momentum and leading it through its growth requires continuously increasing capability, confidence, and strategic thinking,” stated Sara Abdelaziz Al Nuaimi, CEO of Sheraa. We are fostering an atmosphere through SWIF that allows female entrepreneurs to maintain their leadership and decision-making skills while preparing their companies for future stages of expansion.
