Nine mosques in the eastern region, ten in the central region, and seventy-four in Sharjah city make up the 93 mosques that the Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department has designated for non-Arab minorities.
Lessons, conversations, and Friday sermons are available in English, Urdu, Malayalam, Pashto, and Tamil in these mosques. The department’s mission to spread religious instruction and knowledge to all facets of society is in line with this objective.
Abdullah Khalifa Al Sebousi, the department chief, underlined that this plan is one of the initiatives the department is taking to maximise the Friday sermon. This covers its principles, morals, and etiquette to teach believers about both religious and secular issues. He clarified that in addition to selecting preachers who are certified and fluent in the approved languages, the agency also trains them in public speaking and how to interact with worshippers. These mosques provide Friday sermons, talks, and instruction in Tamil, Pashto, Malayalam, Urdu, and English.
The head of the Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department, Abdullah Khalifa Al Sebousi, underlined that using the Friday sermon effectively is a goal of numerous initiatives. To educate worshippers, this include its doctrines, beliefs, and etiquette.
