According to a recent thorough and quantitative assessment by Telegraph Travel, Emirates has emerged as the “World’s Best Airline” out of 90 international carriers.
The results were determined using information from over 18 independent and international awards, reader surveys, ratings websites, and expert reviews. The detailed ranking and ratings were derived from over 30 criteria, including punctuality, baggage allowance, route network, quality of home airport, age of the fleet, the value of rewards program, and tastiness of in-flight meals.

The survey declared that Emirates “ticks nearly every box, from baggage allowance to punctuality,” making it a “worthy winner.” Because it provides the most space and legroom in all seats, including economy, it is the airline that flies the most double-decker Airbus A380s, the aircraft that travellers adore.

“Its A380s have the best premium economy in the sky,” the paper continued. Business class never lets you down and includes a driver, which is becoming increasingly rare, to take you to and from the airport. First class offers showers and the best wine list of any airline. With 140 locations spread across 77 nations, its route network is also among the largest. Thirty thousand readers of Telegraph Travel chose it as the world’s greatest long-haul carrier.
