A high-level delegation led by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Chairman of Dewa International, visited Paris, the French capital, as part of its plan to fortify international alliances and broaden collaboration with significant businesses in the energy and water sectors. The delegation met with the management of EDF, TotalEnergies, and Engie. Dewa established Dewa International, a fully owned company, to build global energy and water projects, transfer utility infrastructure knowledge, and expand sustainable operational models around the globe.
Along with several senior Dewa officials, the trip included Waleed Bin Salman, Executive Vice President of Business Development and Excellence, and Marwan Bin Haidar, Executive Vice President of Innovation and Future at Dewa. According to Al Tayer, this visit is part of an effort to improve Dubai’s standing internationally and strengthen collaboration between Dewa International and international businesses engaged in the energy and water sectors. The visit’s objectives include reviewing the most recent innovations and technologies used in conventional and clean energy projects as well as investigating ways to develop global projects in renewable and clean energy, green hydrogen, energy efficiency, and advanced water desalination technologies.
