Re-exports also experienced rapid expansion, rising from Dhs58 billion in 2024 to Dhs70 billion in 2025, a 20% increase. The outcomes show how resilient Abu Dhabi’s economy is and how economic diversification is still advancing. They also emphasize how well the emirate’s infrastructure facilitates commerce and trade, enhancing its standing as a regional and international center for logistics and trade. “A system designed for efficiency, scalability, and continuity is reflected in Abu Dhabi’s non-oil foreign trade performance in 2025. According to Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), “this growth is driven by deliberate alignment across policy, infrastructure, and market access, enabling trade flows to move with speed and reliability.”

The strength of exports, he continued, together with steady increase in imports and re-exports, indicate a more competitive position across important corridors and a deeper integration into global trade flows. Abu Dhabi continues to guarantee smooth economic movement, lessen friction throughout supply chains, and function consistently in an increasingly complicated global environment. In order to strengthen Abu Dhabi’s position as a reliable center within the international trading system, we continue to concentrate on growing alliances, improving logistical capabilities, and facilitating more effective cross-border trade,” Al Zaabi said.
