A strategic partnership has been formed between Aldar and Taqa Distribution, a division of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (ADNOC), to promote the development of integrated, sustainable communities in Abu Dhabi.
As part of the agreement, Taqa Distribution and Aldar will evaluate potential areas of collaboration within Aldar’s infrastructure portfolio, with an emphasis on improving long-term operational efficiency and utility delivery for Abu Dhabi’s benefit. Across all stages of infrastructure development, TAQA Distribution will offer its extensive experience in utility network planning, implementation, and operation.
This entails helping establish private utility networks, assessing infrastructure designs, offering temporary and long-term solutions for the delivery of water and electricity, and identifying opportunities to incorporate cutting-edge, environmentally friendly, and energy-efficient technology.
Through the use of cutting-edge digital technologies and analytics, the alliance also aims to enhance overall utility service management and increase cost efficiency. “This agreement allows us to align with a key development partner in Abu Dhabi to deliver dependable, future-ready infrastructure that meets the evolving needs of the emirate’s growing population,” stated Omar Al Hashmi, CEO of Taqa Distribution.
By utilizing our customer-focused utility services, environmental practices, and operational excellence, we hope to assist Aldar in creating excellent, interconnected communities. Our continued dedication to advancing national goals and delivering tangible benefits to the communities we serve throughout the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is reflected in our partnerships.
