Under the theme “Hand in Hand, We Celebrate 50 Years,” the UAE celebrated Emirati Women’s Day 2025. The Ministry of Economy and Tourism participated in the “Women’s Economy Dialogue” in Guangzhou, People’s Republic of China.
According to Badreya Al Maidoor, Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector at the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, women’s empowerment is still a top strategic priority in the UAE. This is in keeping with the vision of the wise leadership to support Emirati women and increase their influence in determining the country’s economic future.
“We are proud of the outstanding accomplishments of Emirati women in every field,” she stated. By promoting diverse and innovative economic partnerships and exchanging success stories that motivate the upcoming generation of female leaders in both nations, we hope to deepen our collaboration with Chinese women entrepreneurs.
The event’s objectives were to increase Emirati women’s visibility internationally, showcase their outstanding accomplishments, and promote cross-border collaborations between prosperous female business executives in China and the United Arab Emirates. These initiatives reflect the UAE’s wise leadership’s goal of empowering women and reaffirming their role in determining the future.
