The most recent traffic data for June 2025 from Etihad Airways shows that the airline is still growing rapidly and that demand from customers is excellent. With 1.8 million passengers in June, Etihad Airways had a 16% increase in passengers over the same month the previous year. This steady increase demonstrates the airline’s strategic growth and dominant market position.
The increase in the passenger load factor from 86 percent in June 2024 to 88 percent shows Etihad’s ongoing ability to maximise capacity while satisfying strong demand. 10.2 million passengers boarded Etihad in the first half of 2025, which is a 17% increase over the same time in 2024. Through the end of the year, the average passenger load factor has been an astounding 87 percent.
Etihad Airways CEO Antonoaldo Neves said, “We are happy to see continued momentum in our growth, with passenger numbers in June rising by 17 percent year-on-year in the first half of the year, staying the fastest-growing airline in the Middle East. Our consumers continue to trust our service, as seen by the fact that over 10 million visitors have flown with us in 2025 thus far, and our rolling 12-month total has nearly reached 20 million.
