The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has introduced a series of new talent development initiatives to promote Emirati leadership in high-impact industrial positions.

The projects, which were unveiled at the Make it in the Emirates Forum 2025, are a key component of Abu Dhabi’s long-term industrial plan and will provide the workforce with essential skills in artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0, and sustainable manufacturing.

These new career paths aim to boost productivity and creativity in the emirate’s industrial sector by preparing UAE citizens for leadership and high-value jobs. ADIO’s new talent programs support the Abu Dhabi Industrial Strategy 2031 and represent a bold attempt to instil top-notch skills in the local labour force and propel Abu Dhabi’s ascent to prominence as a worldwide centre for sectors that will shape the future.

During the Make it in the Emirates Forum, ADIO and the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) will hold a special Industrialists Career Fair to help close the gap between training and employment. As part of a larger effort to increase national involvement in the emirate’s economic development, the program aims to directly place more than 100 Emiratis into critical jobs within Abu Dhabi’s industrial sector.
