The world’s largest observation wheel, Ain Dubai, is already accepting reservations for tickets. Since March 2022, the famous attraction has been closed for “enhancement works.” Prices for tickets start at Dh145. The website of the attraction allows visitors to purchase tickets.

A customer service agent who was contacted confirmed that the 250-meter-tall wheel had a “soft launch” on December 25.The wheel’s operator, Dubai Holding, has not released a statement regarding the reopening. On weekends, the attraction is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Each ride provides a 360-degree view of the skyline of Dubai and lasts around 38 minutes.

With 48 cabins, it can accommodate 1,750 passengers in total. At 250 meters from the ground to the top of the tallest cabin, the Ain Dubai dominates the city. It is 82 meters higher than Las Vegas’s High Roller.

The attraction opens to the public on Dubai’s Bluewaters Island, which is off the well-known Jumeirah Beach Residences (JBR) shoreline.

The observation wheel was first scheduled to return for the Islamic holiday of Eid Al Fitr in 2022 after announcing its shutdown in March of that year. In October 2022, the management revealed that the attraction would remain closed until the first quarter of 2023, significantly delaying its reopening. After that, the reopening was postponed “until further notice.
