We recently had the opportunity to speak with Abdul Ansar, CEO and Co-founder of Master Technovision. With a passion for innovation and excellence, Ansar created MasterTech and filled the gap of connectivity in the region with their high-quality internet Satellite and AV services.
MasterTech has emerged as a pioneer in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, combining innovation and convenience. Being the Business Head of the organization, Ansar leads a team of seasoned experts offering smart home and office installations to advanced smart security solutions and smart automation. In this session, the CEO shares the inspiration behind building the business, challenges in this field, visions for the future, and offers suggestions for aspiring professionals in the field.
The Beginning
We started the interview by asking, “Can you tell us about your professional journey and what led you to your current role?”
Abdul Ansar shared, “14 years ago, I laid the foundation of MasterTech, a company driven by a passion for innovation and excellence. Back then, the internet in Dubai was in its infancy, with connectivity reliant solely on wired solutions. Recognizing the potential of a digitally connected world, we began delivering high-quality SMATViSatellite services, ensuring seamless connectivity for homes and businesses.
In those early days, MasterTech became a pioneer in providing high-quality internet Satellite/AV services, setting new benchmarks for reliability and performance. But the vision extended beyond just connectivity. Recognizing the growing need for advanced building solutions, MasterTech expanded its expertise to include ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems.”
“As we expanded our expertise, MasterTech became a pioneer in ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems for buildings, offering cutting-edge security, communication, and automation solutions. Our goal was simple yet impactful: to combine convenience with innovation, delivering smarter and safer building solutions.
Today, I look back with pride on how far we’ve come. What started as a vision has grown into a legacy of excellence, serving Dubai’s ever-growing technological landscape. This journey is a testament to the trust our clients have placed in us and the dedication of my team. Here’s to continuing the MasterTech story, one connection at a time.” He added.

Eager to learn Abdul Ansar’s perspective on becoming an effective leader in his industry, we asked, “In your view, what qualities define a successful leader in your industry?”
Abdul Ansar replied, “As the Business Head at MasterTech, my role encompasses strategy, innovation, and a relentless focus on customer satisfaction. I lead a talented team of professionals, and together, we deliver not just products but solutions that integrate seamlessly into our clients’ lives. From Smart home and office installations to advanced smart security solutions and smart automation, I ensure that MasterTech is at the forefront of technological innovation.
Our mission goes beyond technology—it’s about creating convenience and security through smart automation, offering tailored solutions for residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors. What excites me most is the ability to craft solutions that are precise, innovative, and impactful. My leadership philosophy focuses on empowering my team, fostering collaboration, and building long-lasting relationships with our clients.”
Overcoming Challenges: Resilience in Business
We further asked, “What challenges have you faced as a business leader, and how have you overcome them?”
Emphasizing the elements to overcome challenges in his field, Ansar shared, “Firstly, in the rapidly evolving field of security solutions and smart automation, staying ahead of technological trends is vital. MasterTech has focused on continuous innovation to deliver cutting-edge solutions to its clients, integrating the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and cybersecurity.
Moreover, Dubai is a hub for businesses and tourists, and its security requirements are unique. The city’s infrastructure is constantly expanding, and its safety concerns demand the best in surveillance, alarm systems, and automation technologies. And lastly, the security solutions and automation industries often involve complex hardware and technology integration as supply chain disruptions, cost increases, and fluctuating demand can pose significant challenges.”
Adaptability to the Latest Trends
To understand how MasterTech adapts to the latest advancements, we asked, “How has your organization adapted to the ongoing digital revolution and technological advancements?”
“Staying adaptable is a core value at MasterTech. We’re constantly tracking the latest technological advancements, from smart automation systems to advanced AI systems. We make it a point to stay informed and incorporate these innovations into our solutions. Whether it’s providing smart automation for homes or advanced security systems for businesses, our goal is to integrate modern systems that not only meet but exceed our clients’ needs.
An equally important part of this process is educating our clients. When new technologies emerge, we take the time to explain their benefits, installation options, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring our clients are confident in adopting them. In an ever-changing world, staying informed and fostering trust with our clients is key.” Ansar shared.
Envisioning the Future: Smart Automation and AI
To get a glimpse of Abdul’s vision for the future of his industry, we asked, “What are the college’s views on the future of the industry it’s associated with?”
“Looking ahead, I see a world where smart automation and artificial intelligence (AI) transform how we interact with our environment. AI is already becoming a cornerstone of smart cities, and predictive analytics, and machine learning are transforming everything from healthcare to transportation. In Dubai, initiatives like the Dubai AI Lab and the Smart Dubai Initiative are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, helping create smarter, more sustainable cities.
At MasterTech, we are proud to be part of this revolution, integrating AI-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and create more sustainable environments. The future holds immense potential, and I’m excited to see how these technologies will continue to reshape industries and improve everyday life.” He replied.
Advice to Aspiring Professionals
Addressing the beginners in Abdul’s field, we asked, “What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs or leaders looking to make an impact in your industry?”
Abdul Ansar mentioned, “For anyone entering the technical or security solutions industry, my advice is simple yet powerful: embrace continuous learning, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Technology evolves rapidly, and staying ahead of the curve requires a constant commitment to mastering new advancements. Remember, your clients are the cornerstone of your business, so always prioritize delivering value and quality.
Leadership is also about collaboration. Engage with your team, listen to your clients, and aim to exceed their expectations. This approach will not only strengthen your reputation but also ensure sustainability in an increasingly competitive market. The Art of Balance
We ended the interview by asking, “How do you maintain a work-life balance while managing a business?”
“Maintaining a work-life balance while running a business is never easy, but it’s something I’ve learned to navigate with time. The key is adaptability. There will always be challenges, but by staying flexible and passionate about what I do, I’ve managed to strike a balance. Life can throw unexpected challenges, but with the right mindset and preparation, we can face anything head-on.
Reflecting on MasterTech’s journey, I’m proud of how far we’ve come. What started as a small idea with five employees has grown into fifty employees and a legacy of excellence, providing innovative solutions that have transformed Dubai’s technological landscape.” Ansar concluded.
