The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa) recently organized an influential Pitch Day event at Sheraa HQ with the topics of Agritech and Livestock Health to mark the conclusion of its Access Sharjah Challenge (ASC) 2024. This event, which brought together 11 shortlisted firms chosen from a record-breaking 2,207 applications submitted worldwide, was the culmination of an intensive journey. An outstanding international contingent of more than 24 nations from all six livable continents—Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Africa, and Australasia—joined the local talent.
“Sheraa is committed to empowering innovative entrepreneurs who are committed to addressing the pressing challenges facing our world today,” said Sara Abdelaziz Al Nuaimi, CEO of Sheraa, about the impact of ASC 2024. With the help of our esteemed partners and in line with our recently created Centers of Excellence, we want to keep fostering an innovative and resilient culture while turning ground-breaking concepts into significant solutions that help ensure a sustainable future for everybody. We think Sharjah has the potential to be the hub of this development in a number of areas, and our Access Sharjah Challenge offers businesses a fantastic chance to take advantage of this and aggressively apply their ideas throughout the emirate.
