According to the Digital Government (DGOV), there are four online ways to apply for any kind of entrance or residency visa in the United Arab Emirates.
In order to obtain a Golden Residency visa, a Green Residency visa, an Exploration Visa for Business Establishment Opportunities, a Virtual Work Residency Visa, a Work Permit, a Visit Visa, or a Tourism Visa, DGOV has invited foreigners who are interested in visiting the United Arab Emirates to utilise these channels.
According to the DGOV, these channels include the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship app on the Google Play Store or Apple Store, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA)-Dubai official website, Smart Channels for Residency and Citizenship (E-channels), and “Dubai Now.
The typing office will handle the application process. Upon approval, the applicant will receive the original entrance visa along with a confirmation SMS.
After being granted permission to enter the country, the permit holder must finish the requirements for a residence visa. Additionally, entry permits are granted for brief visits for certain reasons, such as receiving medical care, travelling for work, tourism, transit, attending events, seeing family, or looking into employment prospects. The validity term of entry permits for non-residence purposes varies from two days (transit visa) to five years after entering the country, according to DGOV’s clarification.
