Early on Monday morning, a young woman died after falling from a high-rise building close to Sheikh Zayed Road. According to reports, the incident happened early in the morning.
The woman lived on the ground floor of Escape Tower, and her body was found there, next to the Second Home café, near the RTA parking lot. She is thought to have fallen from the 38-story building’s balcony. Her nationality and identity are still unknown.
Quickly responding, police and paramedics taped off the area with yellow tape that extended from the café to a nearby salon. Witnesses said they saw officers chatting with residents and the building security as the investigation got underway. While authorities carried out their tasks, the scene stayed cordoned off.
Paramedics removed the body at around 7:30 in the morning. An Indian resident expressed her distress at the scene as she dropped her child off at the school bus. She described it as “very disturbing.” “There were numerous paramedics and police officers, and the body was covered with a blue tarpaulin. My child questioned me and I was unable to respond.
