“Investing in a More Resilient World” was the theme of Investopia Bridge 2026, which took place in Abu Dhabi. In the midst of continuous regional and global changes, the event examined the changing global investment landscape and new trends in capital, investment, and finance across new and sustainable economy sectors. Along with over 800 attendees, it featured over 30 speakers, including ministers, decision-makers, investors, business executives, entrepreneurs, and economists from the UAE and other countries.
A government and policymaker-led discussion on the changes influencing the world economy, growth prospects, and the significance of confidence and innovative economic policies in bolstering economies’ capacity to adapt and draw investment kicked off the Investopia Bridge 2026 initiative. The conversation then shifted to corporate and private sector leaders, who discussed how companies are adapting to these changes, the opportunities presented by new growth corridors, the position of top UAE companies internationally, and changes occurring in a variety of industries, such as tourism, innovation, and technology.
Additionally, the program brought together capital managers and investors to discuss the new rules of investment, such as how sovereign wealth funds are changing, how new investment categories and instruments are emerging, how asset allocation strategies are evolving, and how cross-border investment and capital flows are changing in an increasingly volatile and fragmented global environment. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism and Co-Chair of Investopia, and Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, UAE Minister of Investment and Co-Chair of Investopia, oversaw the opening of Investopia Bridge 2026.
