Tickets for passenger train trips between Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Fujairah are now being sold by Etihad Rail. This is prior to the September 30 inauguration of the Dubai station. Direct travel durations between stations are one hour and four minutes, and tickets start at Dhs39 for Standard Class and Dhs109 for Premium Class. Etihad Rail offers many daily flights between these main cities, according to the current booking schedule. As this new phase of the passenger rail network starts to operate, travellers will have a variety of options because these excursions are distributed among morning, afternoon, and nighttime intervals.
Trains depart at 6:43 am and arrive at 7:47 am and 7:43 am and arrive at 8:47 am, respectively, for service from Abu Dhabi to Dubai. From Abu Dhabi, afternoon and evening services depart at 12:43 pm and arrive in Dubai at 1:47 pm, 4:43 pm and arrive at 5:47 pm, and 5:43 pm and arrive at 6:47 pm. Each trip takes one hour and four minutes. The first scheduled train, which travels in the other direction, from Dubai Station at 6:14 am and reaches Abu Dhabi Station at 7:18 am. This is followed by a voyage that departs at 7:14 am and arrives at 8:18 am. Other excursions include one that leaves Dubai at 1:14 pm and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 2:18 pm, another that begins at 5:14 pm and ends at 6:18 pm, and a third that leaves at 6:14 pm and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 7:18 pm. It takes around an hour and four minutes to complete each trip.
The trip from Fujairah to Dubai takes one hour and ten minutes, according to the ticket data. Tickets start at Dhs29 for “Comfort” class and Dhs89 for “Premium” class. Trains depart Fujairah Station at 11:54 am and arrive at Dubai Station at 1:04 pm. Conversely, flights from Dubai to Fujairah depart at 1:57 pm and arrive at 3:07 pm, with the same travel time and cost of tickets. “Comfort” class tickets for the Abu Dhabi–Dubai route start at Dhs39, while “Premium” class tickets start at Dhs109. Some “Premium” tickets, however, vary; for example, a trip from Dubai to Abu Dhabi costs Dhs129.
