Marc Bou Sleiman

Technology has been part of Marc Bou Sleiman’s journey from an early age. What began with an interest in computers, websites, and problem-solving eventually developed into a broader interest in web development, digital marketing, and building an agency with a different approach to client relationships.

As Digiwits continues to grow across markets, Bou Sleiman remains focused on creativity, technology, people, and the quality of relationships the company builds with its clients. In this conversation, he reflects on the experiences that shaped Digiwits, the challenges of growing a team, the role of artificial intelligence, and his vision for the company’s future.

The Beginning of the Journey

We began by asking Marc about the early interests that led him toward technology and the creation of Digiwits.

“What first inspired you to pursue your current industry or professional path? Was there a defining moment or influence that shaped your direction?”

Marc Bou Sleiman shared, “My interest in technology started very early. I was always drawn to understanding how things worked, fixing computers, exploring websites, solving problems, and eventually building websites myself.

That curiosity naturally led me into web development, and from there my interests expanded into the broader digital and marketing space.

The defining moment was recognizing a gap in the market, not necessarily a lack of agencies, but a gap in professionalism, creativity, and the way agencies approach their relationships with clients. We saw an opportunity to build something different.

That became the foundation of Digiwits and continues to shape how we work today: constantly improving our systems, our creativity, and the way we build relationships with the brands we work with.”

Learning to Grow Without Losing Standards

Building a company brings its own challenges, particularly when growth begins to put pressure on the systems and standards that shaped it in the first place.

“Can you describe one significant challenge you’ve faced in your career or business, and how you successfully overcame it?”

He explained, “One of the biggest challenges we faced when building Digiwits was learning how to scale the business without compromising the standards we had set for ourselves.

In the early stages, we underestimated how difficult it would be to build the right team, establish strong systems, and maintain consistency as the company grew. Over time, we became much more intentional about who we hired and how we developed our people.

One of the most important lessons was that technical ability is only part of the equation. Attitude, adaptability, curiosity, and the ability to contribute positively to a team are equally important.

Today, we look beyond the CV and focus on building a team of people who are capable, collaborative, willing to learn, and aligned with the culture we are creating.

That experience taught us that sustainable growth depends not only on having a strong service, but also on having the right people, systems, and culture behind it.”

Looking Ahead at Technology and AI

Technology continues to influence the creative and marketing industries, with artificial intelligence becoming part of everyday workflows.

“What key trends or changes do you foresee shaping the future of your industry over the next 3–5 years?”

Turning to the years ahead, Marc stated, “AI will undoubtedly be one of the biggest forces shaping our industry over the next few years, but I see it primarily as an accelerator rather than a replacement for human expertise.

It is already allowing creative and marketing teams to explore ideas faster, improve workflows, expand production capabilities, and achieve things that previously required significantly more time and resources.

The real advantage, however, will not come simply from having access to AI. It will come from knowing how to use it effectively.

Strategy, judgment, creativity, and direction still need to come from people. I believe the companies that successfully combine human thinking with emerging technology will be the ones that create the most meaningful competitive advantage.”

Building for Long-Term Growth

For Digiwits, growth is not only about expanding into new markets. Marc Bou Sleiman also places emphasis on the people, systems, and relationships that support that growth.

“What are your long-term aspirations for your company or role, and what strategies are you implementing to reach them?”

He shared, “Our ambition is to continue developing Digiwits into a stronger international agency while working with increasingly ambitious brands and businesses.

We already work across several markets, but geographic reach alone is not the goal. We want to demonstrate the value that strong creativity, strategy, technology, and performance marketing can have on a brand’s growth.

At the same time, we are focused on scaling carefully. That means building the right team, strengthening our internal systems, developing meaningful partnerships, and maintaining the quality of our work as we grow.

For us, success is not measured simply by the number of clients we have. It is measured by the quality of the relationships we build and the impact we create for the businesses that trust us.”

Keeping Creativity Human

We then explored how artificial intelligence has already become part of Digiwits’ work and where Marc believes human input remains essential.

“How do you see artificial intelligence and emerging technologies influencing your industry or business model?”

Marc explained, “AI has already become an important part of how we work at Digiwits.

We did not integrate it simply because it became popular. We adopted it where we saw the potential to improve creative exploration, efficiency, production, and the overall quality of what we can deliver.

It allows our team to test ideas faster, expand creative possibilities, and execute certain concepts that would previously have required considerably more time or resources.

At the same time, we are very conscious about keeping strategy and creative direction human-led.

For us, the value of AI is not the technology itself. It is understanding when to use it, where it adds value, and how to combine it with human creativity and expertise.”

The Principles Behind Digiwits

Beyond its services and technology, Digiwits has developed a set of principles that guide its work and relationships.

“What are the core values or guiding principles that influence your decisions and the way your organization operates?”

Marc outlined, “At Digiwits, we define these principles as our Work Ethics. They guide how we approach our work, our decisions, and our relationships.

Vision-Driven Thinking: Looking beyond immediate needs and preparing brands for what comes next.

Purposeful Creativity: Creating with intention, ensuring that creativity supports clear business objectives.

Dynamic Execution: Moving quickly, adapting intelligently, and turning ideas into action.

Impact Above All: Focusing on work that creates meaningful visual, strategic, and commercial results.

Integrity in Craft: Maintaining high standards and attention to detail in everything we deliver.

Partnership Mentality: Building relationships based on trust, transparency, collaboration, and shared ambition.

They are not simply statements we communicate externally. They are principles we continuously try to apply to the way Digiwits operates.”

A Culture of Collaboration

We asked Marc Bou Sleiman about an approach that has helped shape the company’s culture and its relationships with clients.

“Can you share an innovative strategy or approach that helped your company stand out or achieve a breakthrough?”

He replied, “One of the approaches that has shaped Digiwits most is the way we think about both our team and our clients: as partners in the company’s growth.

Internally, we try to create an environment where ideas can come from anywhere. Leadership should provide direction, but it should also create space for people to contribute, challenge ideas, learn, and bring new perspectives to the table.

The same philosophy applies to our clients. We approach relationships with a partnership mentality rather than viewing them purely as service transactions.

Understanding their business, communicating openly, and becoming genuinely invested in their results allows us to produce better work and build stronger long-term relationships.

That culture of collaboration has become an important part of how we operate and how we differentiate ourselves.”

Learning as a Leader

As Digiwits has grown, Marc’s approach to leadership has developed alongside the company.

“How has your leadership style evolved throughout your journey, and what lessons have shaped your approach to leading teams or businesses?”

Reflecting on that journey, he stated, “My leadership style has evolved alongside the company.

In the beginning, much of the focus was on building strong foundations, creating systems, establishing standards, and defining the kind of culture we wanted Digiwits to have.

As the team grew, I learned that leadership is not simply about creating structure or making decisions. It is also about understanding people, communicating clearly, knowing when to provide direction, and knowing when to give others room to take ownership.

Some of the most valuable lessons have come through experience, both from decisions that worked and those that did not.

The principle that has remained constant is continuous learning. Industries change, businesses change, and people change. Good leadership requires the willingness to keep learning, adapting, and improving with them.”
