The General Women’s Union (GWU) and the UAE Embassy in Beijing jointly planned a two-week official visit to the United Arab Emirates by a high-level economic delegation made up of fifteen prominent women entrepreneurs from the People’s Republic of China. The successful visit by the Chinese women entrepreneurs’ team, according to Noura Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General of the General Women’s Union, demonstrates the depth of the notable strategic collaboration between the friendly People’s Republic of China and the United Arab Emirates.
Under the direction of His Highness Sheika Fatima Bint Mubarak, the “Mother of the Nation,” Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, Noura Al Suwaidi continued, the GWU’s dedication to organising this extensive tour embodies the national vision of empowering women and strengthening their leadership and economic presence internationally.
According to Al Suwaidi, the productive discussions and field trips around the several emirates created a solid foundation for creating frameworks for long-term collaboration and business alliances that support growth and innovation in the two friendly nations. The delegation, which represented businesses and business associations with a total reported yearly turnover of almost 4.85 billion yuan, was of significant economic importance. Industry, hospitality, food and food security, biotechnology, infrastructure, new energy, smart lighting, and investment services are all areas in which they operate.
