Within four minutes of the Operations Room receiving the complaint, the Naif Police station’s electric scooter patrol team detained three suspects for stealing Dhs 190,000. The incident began when the General Department of Operations’ command and control room received a report that a theft had occurred within the Naif Police station’s jurisdiction.
Patrols were immediately informed of the suspects’ descriptions, and within two minutes, the electric scooter patrol arrived at the scene, spread across the neighbourhood, and captured the three suspects in possession of the money.
The Naif Police station’s director, Brigadier Expert Omar Musa Ashour, confirmed that the speed at which the suspects were apprehended and the stolen money was recovered is a reflection of the field teams’ preparedness and the effectiveness of the report response system. He noted that the station places a high value on monitoring patrol performance and supervising field deployments, ensuring prompt handling of reports and improving security presence in critical and high-density areas.
