The UAE Artificial Intelligence Office, in conjunction with Google Gemini, has introduced a one-year complimentary access plan to ‘Google AI Plus’, which provides university students with access to Google Gemini as well as other AI-powered tools and technologies.

This action is part of the UAE government’s efforts to equip students with current digital skills and technologies, as well as to prepare a generation capable of successfully and ethically exploiting AI’s expanding capabilities. This promotes national capacity building and improves the readiness of young talent for future demands.

Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, underlined that the UAE leadership has a proactive vision that puts humanity at the center of its journey into the future. This is accomplished by long-term investment in providing new generations with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities that will prepare them to contribute to growth and consolidate the UAE’s position as a global model for foresight and future shaping.

Al Olama stated that providing students with the most up-to-date models and tools, as well as developing their skills in using them, fosters a culture of continuous learning, exploration, and innovation, allows them to broaden their knowledge horizons and innovate new solutions, and strengthens their role in designing an AI-powered future.
