Due to the anticipated high amount of travel over the Eid Al Adha holiday, Emirates Airlines has advised travelers leaving from Dubai to arrive at Dubai International Airport early. During peak hours, security, passport control, and gate access procedures may take longer than usual, according to the carrier. Additionally, it suggested taking the Dubai Metro to get to the airport in order to avoid traffic jams and urged travellers to utilize the various check-in alternatives to expedite and simplify their travels.
Pre-selecting seats, completing travel procedures via the Emirates website or app, and dropping off baggage 24 hours prior to the flight (or 12 hours prior for flights to the US) were among the choices. With the exception of flights to the US, the airline stated that both its check-in centers and express self-service kiosks were available for luggage drop-off and check-in.
It further stated that First Class travelers and Skywards Platinum members are eligible for a free home check-in service, while Emirates Skywards members can sign up for biometric services through the app to use facial recognition technology at the airport.
