President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has ordered the implementation of a new national health insurance system for all people. The system ensures the provision of comprehensive medical care and health services to inhabitants across all emirates, guaranteeing high-quality care.

The healthcare ecosystem in the UAE is known around the world for its high standards and efficiency, but the implementation of the new insurance system is projected to take the efficiency to an even higher level, leaving services at the highest international standards. Digitalization and innovation will also allow the health sector to improve services and patient experiences.

Sheikh Mohamed’s recent decree shows the leadership’s commitment to ensuring all residents have access to the best quality healthcare.” The orders of President are a national vision that puts human health and quality of life at the center of the UAE’s development priorities, said Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of Health and Prevention.
