Sharjah Womens Club archery team ends season with honours

The Sharjah Women’s Sports Club finished the 2025–2026 UAE Archery League with exceptional results that demonstrate both consistent performance and an increase in the number of participants. In the competition’s final round, which took place at the Sharjah Police Officers Club, the club performed admirably and secured a prominent spot on the podium. The club’s athletes excelled in individual competitions on the opening day of the competition. In the women’s compound bow division, Amina Al Awadi won the gold medal; in the under-18 recurve bow division, Samia Odineva won the gold, and Mona Al Shara’a took home the silver.

In the recurve bow division, the Sharjah ladies maintained their impressive performance, with Sinehal Devakar taking home the gold and Maha Al Hosani placing second. In the under-21 division, Sara Al Balushi won silver, and Fatima Al Balushi placed third. In the under-21 division, Mytha Al Neimi won the gold medal in the compound bow competition, while her teammate Sara Al Mazmi took home the silver.

On the second day of the competition, favorable outcomes persisted, with Ilma Sigri taking home the bronze in the under-12 recurve bow division and Salama Al Ali capturing the gold. Maysa Al Dros won silver and Maha Thamer Al Shamsi won bronze in the under-15 compound bow competition. In the under-10 division, Shaikha Abdullah also took home the bronze. With five gold, five silver, and four bronze podium places in the overall league standings, the club’s athletes demonstrated their steady competitiveness in a variety of categories.
