As a result, there is a constant and increasing need for maintenance, repair, and upgrade services across the nation.
By drawing airlines and service providers from other continents and exporting technical and engineering services to foreign markets, the UAE has transcended its domestic and regional status and become a comprehensive worldwide destination for MRO services.
Specialized areas such as Dubai South and the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub saw notable advancements in 2025, enhancing the nation’s reputation in the field. These included expanding the development of cutting-edge hangars and heavy-maintenance facilities, as well as attracting local and international businesses specializing in maintenance services, technical support, and aviation equipment.
Atherion Aerospace, an aerospace manufacturing venture and subsidiary of Economic Group Holdings UUDS, a leader in the business aviation sector; Tariq Al Futtaim Group; Al Burj Holding; and Avia Solutions Group (ASG), the largest (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance) provider in the world, are among the select group of international companies with which the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub inked strategic agreements in 2025.
