As part of its effort to recruit skilled educational personnel to support the growth of the educational system and improve the calibre of educational outcomes, the Ministry of Education (MoE) posted new administrative and educational positions for both citizens and foreign nationals on its official website.
The Ministry highlighted that a variety of specialisations are included in the open jobs, such as kindergarten, physical education (female instructors), mathematics, science, Arabic and English languages, art education, and digital department managers. The MoE stated that drama teachers must be appointed, as long as the candidate has a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: performing arts, theatre, directing, or acting.
The Moe stated that to apply for these positions, candidates must meet several requirements, including earning at least a bachelor’s degree in the required field, having at least two years of teaching experience, and being proficient in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
In terms of language proficiency, the MoE made it clear that in addition to pledging to get a professional practice licence within the first two years after being appointed, candidates must score at least 6.5 on the IELTS (General) exam.
