Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, attended the ‘Victory Day’ celebrations in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Saturday, representing His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. The event was attended by heads of state, government leaders, and senior officials from across the region.
Sheikh Hamdan extended warm greetings and congratulations from President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan.
During the celebrations, Sheikh Hamdan praised Azerbaijan’s impressive progress and its forward-thinking development agenda. He emphasized the growing UAE-Azerbaijan relationship, highlighting that deeper cooperation would open new avenues for sustainable and inclusive growth in both nations. He reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and expanding partnerships that foster stability and prosperity.
