
The Central Bank Data Leaders and Professionals Conference, with the theme “Data-The Solid Foundation of Central Bank Operations in Times of Uncertainty,” was held in Abu Dhabi by the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE).
In order to examine the strategic role of data in central banking, the conference invited senior officials from the CBUAE as well as more than 35 other central banks and international financial organizations worldwide.
The purpose of the event was to increase central banks’ preparedness to meet future demands, promote international cooperation and the sharing of knowledge, and take advantage of global best practices to stay up with economic and digital changes.
The conference included a number of talks emphasizing the value of data-driven innovation in bolstering financial and monetary supervision, as well as chances for global collaboration to improve central bank operations in uncertain times. In-depth discussions examined the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and the changing data landscape. They also examined how data governance supports AI development, how AI affects data structures, and the reciprocal effects of AI and data management.
