The Dubai Press Club (DPC) has revealed details of a series of workshops that will take place during the fifth edition of Dubai PodFest on 30 September 2025. Recognised as the region’s largest gathering of podcasters, the event is being held under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
Bringing together leading regional and international media organisations, podcast platforms, and creators, Dubai PodFest will serve as a platform to discuss the future of podcasting and highlight the latest innovations in this fast-growing digital industry. The workshops also align with International Podcast Day, celebrated globally on 30 September, underscoring the influence and popularity of podcasts across the world.
According to the Dubai Press Club, the initiative reflects its continued mission to enhance the skills of content creators in the Arab world and strengthen Dubai’s position as a hub for digital media. Mahfoudha Saleh, Manager of Dubai PodFest, expressed appreciation for the participation of top media organisations and platforms in the workshops. She said the sessions will bring together regional and global experts who have played a key role in shaping and sustaining the audio content industry.
