
Fouad Arif, the director-general of the Maghreb Arab Press Agency (MAP), and Mohamed Al Hammadi, the acting director-general of the Emirates News Agency (WAM), met on Saturday in Rabat to discuss ways to improve collaboration and exchange media-related knowledge.
In order to create creative media content and improve digital media skills, the two sides discussed a number of bilateral cooperation topics during the discussion, especially in the area of artificial intelligence technology. They also talked about ways to broaden the two agencies’ collaboration to encompass the creation of high-caliber digital content, the sharing of knowledge, and journalist training.
Under the direction of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Al Hammadi and Arif reaffirmed the close working relationship between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United Arab Emirates.
Al Hammadi said his visit is intended to investigate new opportunities for collaboration between the two organisations in creating creative media material that keeps up with the changing media environment in a statement to the Maghreb Arab Press Agency after the meeting.
The two sides discussed some bilateral cooperation topics at the conference, with a focus on artificial intelligence technologies, to improve digital media skills and create creative media content.
