Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, the founder and chairman of Burjeel Holdings, contributed Dhs5 million to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign, which was started by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE’s prime minister, vice president, and ruler of Dubai.
The initiative commemorates fathers in the United Arab Emirates by creating a long-term endowment fund to offer medical care and treatment to the underprivileged. Dr. Shamsheer’s contribution is part of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives’ (MBRGI) community-wide reaction to the campaign.
In addition to advancing the idea of philanthropic endowments, the campaign supports the principles of respecting parents, empathy, and unity. It contributes to the UAE’s standing as a pioneer in humanitarian and charity endeavours. The campaign also seeks to build a community-wide movement supporting its goals and reinforcing the UAE’s well-known characteristics of compassion and profound human solidarity.
According to Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, the Fathers’ Endowment initiative demonstrates the UAE’s dedication to helping underprivileged areas by giving them the means to better their lives and inspire optimism.
He cited the admirable objectives of the Ramadan campaign as motivation for further charitable donations, especially the creation of an endowment fund to offer long-term healthcare to the underprivileged and destitute.
