Maritime safety and the global economy were among the topics covered during the meeting between Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which took place on Tuesday (March 31). The meeting came as regional tensions continue to rise, and the leaders of the two countries sought to address this and other related issues.
The Emir of Qatar is visiting the United Arab Emirates for a friendly visit. The leaders also discussed the ongoing terrorist assaults by Iran on many nations in the area, including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and others. These attacks have targeted both civilians and civilian infrastructure. Efforts to protect their people, their nation, and their sovereignty were examined. Along with their shared interests and development priorities, the leaders of the two nations deliberated methods to deepen collaboration across many sectors for the benefit of their peoples and the fraternal connections between their countries.
Several high-ranking officials were present at the meeting, including Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Adviser to the UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan; and several others.
