Emirates Health Services (EHS) has announced the launch of a new service, dubbed “Residency Renewal from Home,” which allows UAE citizens to undergo medical checks for residency renewal at home, with a trained medical team visiting the customer’s home at the scheduled time.
This measure aligns with the UAE’s goal of developing government services and making them more flexible and convenient for clients. The program intends to make residency renewal procedures easier, particularly for people who prefer to execute transactions from home, have trouble moving, or are limited by time. The consumer can easily schedule an appointment for the medical staff to visit them at home and do the test in accordance with accepted medical standards.
EHS emphasized on its digital channels that booking an appointment for the service is done in advance by contacting 800887, and an employee coordinates the suitable appointment based on the customer’s daily schedule.
Following that, a professional medical team from Weqayati centres visits the customer’s home to do the medical test correctly and safely.
The service involves conducting the medical exam required for residency renewal in accordance with established health protocols, while adhering to the highest quality and safety standards during the test, ensuring the reliability of the results while maintaining client safety.
