Low-cost transporter Passengers can now enjoy free hand luggage up to 10 kilos, according to a statement released by Air Arabia on Monday.
One piece of carry-on luggage and one small personal item are included in this permitted weight. The airline reaffirmed that the carry-on must be made to fit safely in the overhead bin and have dimensions of 55 cm by 40 cm by 20 cm.
The second item, which can be a backpack, duty-free bag, or handbag, needs to fit beneath the passenger’s front seat. The dimensions of this item should be 25 cm by 33 cm by 20 cm.
According to the statement, passengers who are traveling with a baby will be permitted an additional 3 kilos. Passengers are permitted to bring one handbag, weighing no more than seven kilograms, on flights operated by other UAE airlines, such as Emirates, FlyDubai, and Etihad Airways.
However, duty-free purchases of cigarettes, alcohol, and perfume in appropriate amounts are also allowed for Emirates. The airline underlined that passengers are only permitted to bring one piece of carry-on luggage when they board at Indian airports.
When traveling in economy class on Etihad Airways with a baby between the ages of seven days and twenty-three months, passengers are permitted to bring one cabin bag up to five kilograms in weight in addition to an additional item, such as a car seat, pushchair, or carrycot, provided that it satisfies certain requirements.
When flying in economy class with an infant aged seven days to twenty-three months, Etihad Airways allows passengers to bring one cabin bag up to five kilograms in weight in addition to one additional item, such as a car seat, pushchair, or carrycot, provided the item fits the required dimensions.
