On Wednesday, the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received a phone call from Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation. During the call, the two leaders discussed the escalating security and military developments in the region, as well as the serious implications these developments have for the stability and security of the region and the world as a whole.
Both sides have emphasized the importance of immediately halting the escalation and have called for prioritizing genuine dialogue and diplomacy to address lingering issues in the region in a manner that preserves security and prevents further tensions and crises.
The state news agency claimed that both leaders urged an urgent end to the escalation of the war across the area as well as for “meaningful dialogue and diplomacy.”They talked about the “escalating security and military developments in the region, as well as their serious implications for the security and stability of the region and the world as a whole.
