The “Itma’en” program, which translates to “rest assured,” has been launched by Dubai Health in partnership with the Community Development Authority and the Dubai Health Authority, providing citizens, residents, and visitors with free access to mental health support.
This collaborative effort demonstrates Dubai’s dedication to creating an integrated mental health system that improves community quality of life and supports the city’s aim of putting health and wellbeing at the center of its objectives.
The program is a part of continuous initiatives to improve community health and increase access to mental health care. Through a specialized hotline (800506), the “Itma’en” service provides private counseling on mental health, offering a secure and friendly environment where people can speak with professionals and seek comfort anytime they need it.
A group of experts is on hand to listen, offer expert advice, and promote increased community awareness and comprehension of mental health. This project exemplifies Dubai’s strategy for creating integrated human-centred services that improve quality of life via a wide range of community and health initiatives based on the conviction that human well-being is the cornerstone of a prosperous society.
