An integrated system, located on the Dubai-Sharjah border in Al Qusais, Dubai, and emphasising the unavoidable and necessary education-research-innovation-healthcare alliance, is scheduled to be opened in 2026.
This is Thumbay Medicity-Dubai, which was officially launched on Monday evening, complete with a display of its architectural scale model, by Thumbay Group founder-president Dr. Thumbay Moideen. He underlined the important contribution of “His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi,” the UAE’s Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, who invited him to establish a medical education college in the emirate in 1997.
Dr. Moideen stated, “We announced a medical facility in Dubai last year. I’m also grateful to my own team. “This is more than just an expansion.”It is the continuation of a dream that began with a single firm belief. That education, healthcare, and research must all grow together. We strongly support Dubai’s ambition, and in the city now benefits from an integrated academic medical city designed to shape future professionals, improve patient care, and fuel new discoveries. Our aim has always been global, but very human,” Dr. Moideen added.
