
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has hailed the declaration of a cease-fire deal in Gaza, as well as the release of detainees, hostages, and captives.
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the United States for working together to reach this accord. He has also voiced his hopes for the deal to bring a stop to the suffering, avoid additional loss of life, and alleviate the crisis and tragic situation in the Strip.
Sheikh Abdullah emphasised the importance of all parties adhering to all agreements and duties in order to stop the pain of Palestinian detainees and Israeli hostages. Furthermore, Sheikh Abdullah emphasised the UAE’s consistent attitude, which demands for the timely, sustainable, and unfettered delivery of humanitarian relief to people in need who have been living in grave humanitarian conditions for more than 15 months.
He emphasised the need of international community support for all initiatives aimed at advancing the Middle East peace process, as well as putting an end to illegal acts that undermine the two-state solution and establishing an independent Palestinian state. Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s unwavering commitment to promoting peace, justice, and the fulfilment of the rights of the Palestinian people.
