In response to Donald Trump’s suggestion that the United States annex Gaza without its Palestinian residents, Arab leaders convened in Riyadh on Friday to develop a plan for the post-war rehabilitation of the territory.

Arab nations have united against Trump’s plan, but there are still differences over who should lead Gaza and how to pay for its restoration. The meeting ended, according to a source close to the Saudi administration, although the hosts did not release a final statement immediately.

Following the meeting with the leaders of Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi reportedly left the Saudi capital, according to his office.
