At the Mexican capital’s Presidential Palace in Mexico City, Salem Al Owais gave President Claudia Sheinbaum his credentials as the UAE’s ambassador to the US. The greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, were sent to President Sheinbaum by Al Owais. They also wished for continued growth and prosperity for the Mexican government and people.

President Sheinbaum, for her part, wished for continued development and progress for the UAE’s government and citizens while extending her greetings to President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid, and Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed.

President Sheinbaum expressed her country’s willingness to support the ambassador in any way possible to help him carry out his duties and wished him luck in his efforts to improve connections between the two countries in several areas.

Al Owais, for his part, said he was proud to represent the United Arab Emirates in the United States and that he was eager to strengthen bilateral connections in a number of areas in order to help strengthen the friendship and collaboration between the two countries.
