His Majesty The UAE’s vice president, prime minister, and ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, presided over a cabinet meeting at Abu Dhabi’s Qasr Al Watan. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense; Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; Lt. General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; and His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, were present at the meeting.

The National Policy for Economic Clusters was the first decision to be approved. Its goal was to leverage the distinct assets of each emirate while creating clusters of institutions, services, and sectors with commonalities throughout the United Arab Emirates.
