The smartphone market has been rather disappointing in recent years. There are no standout features or groundbreaking advancements. Year after year, we have only received small spec bumps and a fresh coat of paint. Many people have given up waiting with bated breath. That’s how Huawei, the same company that introduced the first popular tri-fold smartphone, releases the HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra. So, what’s the problem with this phone? This may prompt many people to reconsider purchasing a mirrorless system. The cameras are very fantastic, and we’re not just talking about the primary camera.

Despite smartphones that flex on camera capabilities, the primary camera has always remained the focus. The ultra-wide and especially the telephoto were an afterthought. The Pura 80 Ultra is solving this failed formula by introducing a trailblasing Switchable Dual Telephoto Camera, with adjustable 3.7x and 9.4x focal lengths, using a super-large sensor to capture cinematic portraits and intense, razor-sharp close-ups with deep depth in space.

With a huge photosensitive area ensures the telephoto lens can produce great photographs even in low light, which used to be the Achilles’ heel of telephoto cameras. From fine building details to enormous metropolitan skylines, it excels at capturing rich night environments with exact colour and hue.
