Following US and Israeli assaults on Iran, which sparked a renewed military conflict in the area, international airlines grounded flights throughout the Middle East on Saturday. When Israel claimed to have hit Iran and the US military launched a series of strikes against targets in the country, flight charts revealed that the airspace over Iran was essentially empty.
