The Dubai Airshow officially opened today, Monday, at Dubai World Central, and will continue until November 21. The grand event was attended by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Now in its 19th edition, the Dubai Airshow is a premier global gathering for industry leaders to explore the future of aviation, space, defense, and related sectors. It serves as a vital hub for investment, innovation, and forging strategic partnerships in advanced technologies.
The event highlights the latest industry trends and innovations, including discussions about constructing the world’s largest airports and showcasing cutting-edge technologies, cementing its status as a key highlight on the aviation and space calendar.
This year’s exhibition features more than 1,500 exhibitors, with 440 newcomers, 148,000 visitors, and 490 military and civilian delegations from 115 countries. There are 21 national pavilions, including Morocco’s debut participation, alongside 98 chalets, an expanded 8,000-square-meter exhibition zone, and a competitive showcase of 120 startups and 50 investors. With over 200 aircraft on display, spanning commercial, military, business, and drone categories, this edition promises to be the largest in the Show’s history.
