The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) has been named the Academic Partner for the 2026 edition of the Arab Media Summit, a strategic collaboration announced by the Dubai Press Club (DPC), the summit’s organiser. The announcement comes as UAEU celebrates its Golden Jubilee, which marks 50 years since its founding.

Under the direction of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, the Arab Media Summit will take place at the Dubai World Trade Center from March 31 to April 2, 2026, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.

The relationship demonstrates both institutions’ shared commitment to increasing cooperation between academic institutions and media organisations and assisting in the transformation of the media sector.

Additionally, it strengthens Dubai’s standing as a regional and international center for industry development, media discourse, and forward-thinking digital trends. By leveraging UAEU’s research experience, academic programs, and talent development capabilities, the partnership will enhance the Summit’s academic and knowledge component and give students and professors the opportunity to interact directly with influential media figures and decision-makers worldwide.
