The Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) is carrying out the Dhs190 million Al Shanoof Power Transmission Station project in accordance with the orders of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Sharjah Ruler. 20,000 residential units will be served by the station, which is the biggest in the Al Mehathab neighborhood.

During the “Direct Line” show on the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, which was presented by media personality Mohammed Al Rayaissi, Engineer Abdullah Al Kous, Deputy Director of the Power Transmission Department at SEWA, made this announcement.

Using the newest technology, the station project is being carried out in partnership with Siemens, according to engineer Al Kous. The station is expected to greatly improve power services throughout the emirate when it is finished in the third quarter of 2026. At Dhs190 million, the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) is still working on the Al Shanoof Power Transmission Station project.
