Thailand has officially launched its pavilion at Gulfood 2026, highlighting its role as a major global supplier of certified premium halal food. The pavilion presents a wide range of export ready food and beverage products, aimed at meeting growing demand in key international markets. Thailand’s presence spans both the Dubai World Trade Centre and the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai.

A Thai delegation attended the opening ceremony at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, marking the formal start of Thailand’s participation in this year’s exhibition. The event brought together senior officials from Thailand’s trade sector, government representatives, exporters, and business partners.

The delegation was led by Ms Thanita Khomphatraporn, Advisor to the Minister of Commerce, who supports policies to strengthen economic cooperation. She was joined by Mr Surinthorn Sunthornsanan, Deputy Director General of the Department of International Trade Promotion, and Mr Pitichai Ratananaka, Director of the Thai Trade Center Dubai, who works closely with Thai businesses entering regional markets.

Also present were Ms Chanintorn Rimcharoen, Deputy Director General of the Department of Foreign Trade, who focused on promoting Thai rice, and Mr Jirawuth Suwanna arj, Deputy Director General of the Department of Internal Trade, who highlighted Thailand’s fresh fruit and vegetable exports.
